Corporate Social Responsibility:
We are Partners with 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation in the International Accreditation Initiative for Health Facilities (JCI). A direct consequence of this initiative is that 60 pharmacists and doctors earned JCI accreditation in quality management and hospital management for the first time in Egypt. We are glad to be a member of a cause that serves tens of thousands who are in real need of affordable care and medications. We also sponsored the 57357 Ramadan advertisement in 2018 with our local superstar, Tamer Hosny, who was happy to meet the children and lift their spirits.
Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation – Aswan Heart Center
EVA Pharma recently supported the Dr. Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation - Aswan Heart Centre’s to drastically reduce the number of children on the open-heart surgery waiting list. Right through finishing the two buildings (an outpatient clinic and a specialized center) in Heart Research, which serves around 50 thousand people on an annual basis to fulfill our goal of providing high-quality medical care.
Donating 1 Million Dose During Covid-19 pandemic
Donating 1 Million doses from Ossofortin directed to The Ministry of Health, and supporting the medical sector all over Egypt. Its active ingredient is Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D2), and it is used for Vitamin D deficiency and boosting the immune system.
Donating 1 Million doses from Carnivita Forte (7.17 mg Pure Zinc + Levocarnitine)
Distributing 1 Million doses from Carnivita Forte (7.17 mg Pure Zinc + Levocarnitine) to various Isolation hospitals for supporting the medical sector. It is used for Immunity cells proliferation, differentiation, function & activation and decreases the inflammatory reaction by Zinc, and Endogenous Potent Antioxidant and Anti-apoptosis of immune cells by Levocarnitine.
The National Council for Women
Believing in the work of the community, the importance of disease prevention and strengthening the protection against Cardiovascular Diseases; we have participated in the national program for the prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases and Rehabilitation of the heart patient. Our main objective was to raise awareness and urge people to have regular check-ups for early detection and prevention of heart disease.
The Egyptian Association of Neurology, Psychiatry, Neurosurgery and the Ministry of Health
We initiated the Parkinson awareness campaign under the tutelage of the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian association of neurology, psychiatry, and neurosurgery. We aimed to increase the people’s awareness of the disease, placing an emphasis on early diagnosis in order to obtain the appropriate medication and mitigate its symptoms. This campaign served the Delta Governorates including Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria.
In line with the Government's orientation towards raising health and community awareness, its constant keenness to provide a high level of community service to the Egyptians, and our sense of duty to our fellow Egyptians, we recently launched a national campaign to treat peripheral neuritis under the name "your sense of grace". The campaign aims to raise awareness about peripheral neuritis, its various causes, and its early symptoms in the hope that early diagnosis and careful treatment would drastically reduce the risk of severe complications that may lead to amputation or death.
The National Council for Women
Under the sponsorship of the Egyptian Ministry of Health and National Council for Women, EVA Pharma launched the FEM.FM campaign for spreading awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome, a common disease among females aged between 30-50 years old.
FM is one of the most common misdiagnosed conditions that happen because of the similarities in symptoms with other diseases and a shortage of clinical tests. Both reasons lead to unsuitable treatments or negative feedback to the patient regarding their psychological condition.
Non-smoking Awareness Campaign
In accordance with our founder’s beliefs concerning the importance of serving the community, EVA Pharma has launched an awareness campaign to urge people to stop smoking. Not only that but also we launched initiatives to help people quit smoking in effective ways. We also directed our campaign towards the relatives and friends of the smoker to turn the power of peer pressure against the habit it once built.
HBV & HCV awareness campaign
EVA Pharma campaign to eliminate HBV and HCV infections was launched campaign to raise awareness and break down the social barriers to diagnose people who have contracted HBV and HCV. So we had to shed the light on its deceiving symptoms on World Hepatitis Day.
Annual Orphan Day Celebration
EVA Pharma is celebrating the World Orphan Day on April 16th, each year. Our celebration is covering children from local orphanages, staff members, and their families. We strive to provide the right atmosphere to infuse the spirit of joy and fun. In 2017, we celebrated in Al-Azhar Park, and it included four orphanages and the presence of DJ and different games gave the spirit that children need.
Health care campaigns in Africa
In consideration of EVA Pharma as being an Egyptian national company, we believe in Egypt's pioneering work in the Middle East and Africa. It is normal to send medical missions and convoys to developing African countries and provide medical services and medicines at the highest level. We served six African countries, about 100,000 people, who were in real need of care. In line with UN SDGs, we have also provided social and cultural services and financial donations.
Vitamin D Awareness Campaign
For the efforts of EVA Pharma in the field of vitamin D, we launched an awareness campaign in 2018 to urge citizens to be aware of vitamin D deficiency. Because of the terrible setbacks and anticipation of any symptoms. The campaign included a donation of one million dosages of Ossofortin.
